This Engel sleep sack is made from 100% organic merino wool fleece, which is lightweight and warm and fits babies 6-12 months and 12 to 24 months.  The sleep sack has a full two-way zipper for easy diaper changes and gives lots of room for the legs to move freely inside the sack.   

Since this sleep sac has no sleeves, choosing the weight of the onesie or shirt you pair it with is possible.  

Wool is warmth and moisture-regulating, keeping the baby warm in the cooler months and cooler in the warmer months.  Natural warmth is generated without heat build-up, regulating the humidity and supporting a healthy skin climate.

Wool absorbs up to one-third of its weight in moisture and, depending on external conditions, can return it to the environment. Synthetic clothes may look the same but do not allow the skin to breathe, accumulating uncomfortable heat and moisture.

Animal fibres, like wool and silk, wick the moisture away by airing; thus bacteria cannot settle as easily. Plant fibres, such as cotton as well as synthetics, hold bacteria.
